Fruity and well-rounded

Garnet colour with black reflections. Nice frank nose of stewed fruit, liquorice, spicy notes of cumin and coriander. Well-balanced but quite warm, full-bodied and vinous, ripe tannins that melt into each other. Character on jammy fruits, sweet spices, hints of smoke, sweet pepper. Good length, straight, frank and vinous.

Niečo o výrobcovi

The cellars of Plaisance, Aignan and Saint Mont gathered their knowledge, inheritances, land and initials to form the cooperative Plaimont Producteur in 1979. The cellars of Crouseilles and Condom joined the group 20 years later.

• Terroir: Located in a medieval village of the same name, the vineyard of Château Sabazan is based on a tawny sand tray, allowing the Tannat to express the whole elegance of the wines.

• Viticulture: The harvest is manual.

• Vinification: Each variety is fermented separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 12 to14 months.
