Garnet colour with purple tints. Heady nose, with spices, tobacco, pepper, opens on red fruits, wild strawberry, redcurrant. Fleshy attack, full of balance. Straightforward lengthening, on spices, fresh tobacco, woody and toasted notes. Full-bodied. Clean finish, good persistence on spices.
