Powerful bouquet

Garnet colour with brick reflections. Nose with a hint of vegetal then animal notes, roasted black fruits. Good balance, medium body, the vegetal flavours melt away, the tannins are blended in, with a frank finish on the freshness.

The successive families on the estate (Soudan de Latrau, Ferran, Perrier du Larsan and Lambert des Granges) testify to the discreet grandeur of Château Livran. At the end of the 9th century, the estate was acquired by the famous Denman house in London: these international merchants helped to spread the name Château Livran throughout the world. Château Livran earned its letters of nobility within the Médoc winegrowing community by being listed as a Cru Bourgeois in 1932. On 16 September 2013 the property was bought by Mrs Edwige LURTON MICHON and Mr Olivier MICHON.
