Located at Capian, about 30km from Bordeaux, this XVIth century castle was once the hunting lodge of Jean-Louis Nogaret de la Valette, Duke of Epernon. Restored in the seventeenth century, the property was bought by the Suau family in 1637. Over time, the castle has undergone several Suau buyers before being bought by the Boonet de Mazamet family in 1986.

• Terroir: The field of 65 hectares is based on clay and gravel hills.

• Viticulture: Since 2008, Château Suau is working on a process of organic wine production.

• Wine-making: Pre-fermentation and cold maceration precedes fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks with pumping and punching.
