Distillery For a century, the Distillery Jean Goyard has been perpetuating the know-how of its founder through its three trades. It was on the impulse of his brother who grew vines here that Jean Goyard settled in Champagne in 1911. In this year, the Champagne region was in crisis and the wine that could not find a buyer was poured into the gutters. He then created the first artisanal distillery in Aÿ. Since then, the dynamism, the will and the vision of the managers have allowed the Distillerie Jean Goyard to develop and to forge its current identity.
