Founded in 1815 by Donald Johnston, the Laphroaig distillery has belonged since 2006 to the Beam Suntory Group, already owner of well-known brands such as Jim Beam or Maker's Mark.

• Distillery: The distillery Laphroaig is located on the island of Islay, Scotland.

• Manufacturing: This Single Malt, unfiltered cold, suffered a double maturation in ex-Bourbon casks. Aged, initially, on the same basis as all Laphroaig whiskeys, it is then transferred to small barrels called "Quarter Casks."
